Brief Details

We study the network performance by deploying ad-hoc UAV-access points in the existing cellular network to improve coverage and connectivity in disaster-affected regions. We focused on optimal resource partitioning in an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) UAV network and studied the impact of caching on the successful delivery of data to the users. We proposed an efficient handover skipping algorithm to reduce the delay in service experienced by the users due to the handover in the network. We proposed a 3-D location optimization algorithm and power minimization  to reduce the overall UAV power consumption using functional split options.
